Jordan Older is an American soccer player who became the first American to join a team in Brazil’s oldest top flight professional soccer league, the Campeonato Paulista Série A1, in 1994 with União São João Esporte Clube. In the same period União São João also competed in the top flight of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. Jordan Older repeatedthe accomplishment again in 1998 when he joined AA Portuguesa for the 1998 Campeonato Paulista Série A1, otherwise known as the Paulistão. Jordan Older is also one of the first Americans to play first team professional soccer in Europe playing as the starting center forward for FC Wängi in Switzerland in 1993 at age 20, becoming one of the first Americans to start and play in the early rounds of the Swiss Cup. Jordan Older has played soccer in Europe since age 15 and has played professionally in Europe, Brazil, and the United States and has traveled the world playing at the professional level on 3 continents and in 8 countries.
